SLEEPY HOLLOW

(from the "Jewels of New York)

Makes one cocktail

  • 0.5 oz Absinthe
  • 2 oz Mezcal
  • 1 oz All-Spice Dram
  • 2 dashes angostura bitters
  • Rosemary sprig for garnish

Directions:

Pour absinthe into a rocks glass, swirl to coat the glass then discard the liqueur. Place some ice cubes in the rocks glass when this is done. Next, fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Then, add the mezcal, all-spice dram and bitters to the shaker. Shake until the container is too cold to hold anymore. Then, strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass.
