Oh Canada! My zombie-infested land . . .
So apparently the Zombie Research Society - which is a real thing - believes that Canada is one of the safest places to live during the zombie apocalypse. While Australia takes the number one spot due to its isolation and low population density, Canada takes the number two spot due to the ever-present cold. If zombies freeze, simply head north and you're good to go.
I have some issues with their survey. Replacing the dangers of zombies does not replace the dangers of a population of panicked people with no real survival training going into the frozen tundra. What good is surviving zombies if you simply freeze or starve to death?
I'm not a hot weather guy and they have some hideous bugs in Australia, but I think I'll catch the first flight down under the second someone reports a strange outbreak in a local hospital.
